Out Curriculum

At The Flamingos, we believe that no single approach fits all learners. That’s why our curriculum is a Blended Curriculum, thoughtfully combining the strengths of globally recognized educational philosophies like Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf. We carefully select only those practices that best serve the needs of our children, ensuring a structured, well-organized, and meaningful learning journey.

Out 8 Feathers of Wisdom

(each strategy is like a feather making the bird complete)

We focus on approaches that make learning hands-on, engaging, and deeply meaningful for children:

Inquiry-Based Learning – Curiosity is Our Compass

Rooted in Reggio Emilia’s child-led exploration, we let curiosity drive learning. Children ask, investigate, and build their own understanding.

Play-Based Learning – Imagination Takes Flight

Inspired by Waldorf’s focus on creativity and play, we nurture imagination, social-emotional skills, and joy through purposeful play.

Project-Based Learning – Purposeful Journeys

Linked with Reggio Emilia’s project work, children collaborate on meaningful projects, developing teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking.

Experiential Learning – Learning by doing

A principle embraced by Montessori, children engage in hands-on tasks that connect them with real life, making learning practical and lasting.

Collaborative Learning – Together We Soar

Influenced by Reggio Emilia’s emphasis on community, children learn through teamwork, communication, and shared discovery.

Problem-Centered Learning – Resilience in Action

Connected to Montessori’s problem-solving approach, children develop independence, perseverance, and innovation through challenges.

Learner-Centered Design – Every Child Matters

Aligned with Montessori’s child-focused philosophy, learning adapts to the child’s pace, needs, and unique potential.

Values & Life Skills Integration – Grounded with Grace

Inspired by Waldorf’s holistic vision of educating head, heart, and hands, we integrate social-emotional growth, respect, and responsibility into daily.

With these 8 Wings, our children don’t just learn; they soar like flamingos—balanced, graceful, resilient, and strong.

Move & Groove
Building strength, rhythm, and confidence through play and sports.

At The Flamingos, we believe children grow best when their minds and bodies work together. Our Move & Groove program is designed to develop gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and agility through fun, meaningful activities. Children participate in structured sports, movement games, dance, and rhythm-based exercises, all while learning teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

By engaging in active play, children not only build physical strength and confidence but also develop essential life skills such as resilience, cooperation, and focus. The program ensures that physical education is more than just exercise – it’s a joyful experience that nurtures a healthy lifestyle, creativity, and self-expression.
